Meep's Server

Meep uses custom servers that are required in order to operate. I've been rather negligent in my duties when it comes to publishing the server software. That's primarily because I don't think anyone even uses this anyway, except in order to check out the GUI.

Anyways, the server software right now is written using Stackless Python. This means in order to run the servers, you need to have an installation of Stackless Python (3.x) on your system. Of course, this is rather inconvenient. But as of right now I have yet to publish an executable server.

If you are to run any Meep servers at all though, I strongly urge you use the Stackless Version available here: Download Link (Hightail cloud)

Meep communicates on port: 9090 (When setting up the server)

Previous server versions contain a bug where multiple users joining the same session will accidentally spawn multiple threads, instead of simply "adding the user to the session", so to speak. All previous versions have been removed from the blog.
